Blephadex Eyelid Foam Cleanser contains a blend of tea tree oil and coconut oil that is recommended for the management of symptoms of discomfort and itching caused by blepharitis, dry eye syndrome, meibomian gland dysfunction and rosacea. It has been shown to be effective in the management of demodex blepharitis.
Results from peer-reviewed studies suggest that Tea Tree Oil exhibits anti-bacterial, anti-microbial, anti-fungal and acaricidal properties while Coconut Oil is anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-microbial, anti-fungal, anti-pyretic, anti-inflammatory and analgesic.
